The Role

We are looking for an experienced QA Lead to take ownership of quality assurance across our products and platforms.

In this role, you will be responsible for defining QA strategy, leading testing efforts, and ensuring quality is embedded throughout the development lifecycle. You will work closely with engineering and product teams while mentoring and guiding QA team members.

Responsibilities

  • Define and own the overall QA strategy and testing approach
  • Lead and support QA team members, providing guidance and mentorship
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute testing activities across projects
  • Ensure effective test coverage across functional, regression, and exploratory testing
  • Collaborate with developers and product managers to align on quality standards
  • Drive improvements to QA processes, tools, and documentation
  • Support release planning and go/no-go decisions from a quality perspective
  • Champion best practices for quality across the organisation

Qualifications

Must have

  • 5+ years of experience in software testing or quality assurance
  • Previous experience in a QA Lead or Senior QA role
  • Strong understanding of manual testing methodologies and principles
  • Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments
  • Proven ability to define testing strategies and lead QA efforts
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Nice to have

  • Experience with test automation frameworks
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and release processes
  • Experience working with APIs and backend systems
  • Background in SaaS, fintech, or other product-led environments
